The Objective

AgAmerica’s website overhaul came at a time when society was compelled to lean on technology more than ever before. Their website served as one of the strongest sources for lead generation, but no longer aligned with their vision for the brand.

 

Furthermore, they sought to equip their customers with valuable resources through a central digital resource hub, a goal that simply could not be accomplished with the state of their website.

With the spirit of their customer in mind, we needed to capture the grit associated with their hard work. The overall design features neutral colors and textured treatments to accomplish this.

Farmers vary greatly from region to region. The scale of operation they serve also varied wildly. In the end, we ended up developing 8 unique personas to cater to, and customized user experience throughout the site to make sure potential customers always felt like they were being communicated directly to.

Homepage

AgAmerica had the advantage of world-class photography and videography to work with. It was our objective to highlight this in as many ways as we could throughout their website experience.

 

The second you hit the homepage you’re greeted with a video introduction that makes you feel like you’re in an episode of Yellowstone.

 

Throughout the page we carefully placed various points of proof and validation. In general, we wanted to make the experience very interactive, as we identified this as a key differentiating factor for them.

With farmers often not in a position to use a desktop computer, the mobile experience was extremely important.

 

It needed to look amazing, make complex features easy to use, and load fast for individuals who may be in remote areas.

Lead Generation

To amplify the opportunities for lead generation we created several specialized ways of capturing opportunities. A custom farm loan calculator and financial health check tool drive hundreds of leads per month. Their verification form then quickly qualifies for opportunities. In turn, they saw a lift in both the volume and quality of opportunities they were receiving on average.
